For those who were so nice to show interest in the real nice Impala we have on the dealership lot, I now have a price to go with it. And it's a lot less than I originally thought.
This baby can be yours for $8,500. Not bad for a car in this type of shape.

Holler if any of you are interested. It will be available for more pictures and details on !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in the next 24 hours or so.

I love everything about this except for these chrome spats.

I'm pretty sure they're a stock/dealership thing. There's a 60s C10 on my way into work that also is this color with chrome spats.

Removable. That's the cool thing about them. I don't hate them in person but in pictures they add unnecessary bulk.

So much want.

So little moneys. :(

People who'd rather make that kind of outlay for a new car have some 'splainin' to do.

If they were body color I'd have no issues.

Especially because this thing runs well, drives incredibly and is in overall good shape. It could use some TLC but otherwise, it's ready to go!

They really should be body color. That would make me happy.

They don't make um like they used to!

Sell a kidney? Or part of your liver? The liver (if healthy) will regenerate to a point and you really don't need that much of a liver to survive rather comfortably. Just saying.

I agree the body color would make a huge difference.

People who'd have a hard time financing this, but an easy time financing a new car based on where they are, sure. People prepared to pay $8k cash as just a down payment, when they could have a '63 Donkey in the best possible shape, clear?

But, I like to drink a beer on occasion.

I think I'll keep my liver intact.

IMO too many doors for the price. It does look clean though.

Ah, but *which* body color? The '62 Falcon had a very similar side chrome in some trims, and was the only year to have available the final under-side quarter in a lighter tone - which if the paint weren't great on this might be an interesting experiment (or, say, a paint-protecting vinyl in khaki). I've seen pictures of the Fordors with both chrome fender skirts and secondary body colored ones, and both look good.

Yeah, people don't make any sense. If I had a spare 8K, I would buy it.

It will still process things. Again, you don't need much of a liver to function. It's an incredibly efficient organ. :)

I don't know, I like the 4 doors. I'm a sedan kind of guy though so that's a bias I guess.

Nah but my mom is a nurse, I have an uncle who is a doctor and my dad an EMT so we talk about medical stuff a lot. These are our family discussions. Kidneys are another story though. Those you really need.

Boy, I don't know. I'd argue that either would look better than chrome in the pic you posted.

I just want to buy it, put it on daytons, and add hydros.

What's goofy about the Falcons is that for the first 4 years they fiddled around constantly with the side trim: the '61 was available with chrome around the top edge of the side fillet and on the ends of it, and the '62 was available with a chrome line on the bottom edge - the '63 Sprint has an arrow straight down the middle. Combine them all, and you have a chrome line around *all* of the side fillet *and* a line down the middle. CHROME ALL THE THINGS.
